The latest episode of Difficult People (PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP) takes on the oh-so backwards world of podcasting and the even more backwards podcasters themselves.
As a podcaster myself, I just laughed and nodded my head. Collectively (much like wrestling and comic book fans) we are the worst.

This episode of Animaniacs features one of the best Pinky and the Brain episodes the show ever hosted. It is a brilliant nod to the Animanic fans who also dabble in comic books. On top of it all, Mark Hammill voices the villain in the episode as Johnny Bad-Note.
No television series has tackled such real-life issues coupled with real-life comedy, better than FX's Louie. Here is the intro to the second episode of the first season. It features many major comedians sitting around a poker table playing cards. Rick Crom is the man explaining the term "faggot" and Louis CK is the one asking if using it is offensive. Louis CK is listed as the episode's writer.
I'd like to think that a Rusty Venture is something personal, shared with only that most special person, who you've known at least 4 minutes, and that it is an act performed only under the safest of circumstances, like after taking a fist-full of bennies chased down with a Slurpee® infused with cheap scotch, in the back of a taco truck the two of you broke into, and that it is an act of such trust and intimacy, that it should only be attempted when you in a "safe" mental state of being, like just barley drunk/high enough to really push your inhibitions into the taco truck's deep fryer. As a Nielsen Ratings contributor, I watch a lot of television. On tonight's episode of Tosh.0, I noticed a flash of a fame near the end of the show. I freeze-framed the shot... and... well... is that a really weird looking nipple. It's kind of gross, so I'm only showing the picture after the jump.
There are so many reasons to watch Sons of Anarchy. One reason is the choice of music used in the series. The series uses many un-known artists that could only be described as American (and no, you won't see any of these artists on CMT - I said American, no 'Merican).
Also, there are many covers featured in the series, as is the case with the ending sequence of Season 1 Episode 12 "The Sleep of Babies." Here is a Bob Dylan song covered by the Judy Garland's great-great niece, Audra Mae.

After being burned by Falling Skies, it's hard for me to have faith in network science fiction... That said, it's hard not to have huge expectations for something like Revolution.
I've been watching season 20 of The Simpsons. This was the season that the TV show made the leap from standard definition 4:3 to high definition 16:9, though they didn't make the change until midway through the season. I'm blown away at how much the HD adds to the show, even for a cartoon! Here is the chalk-board gag for the episode of the HD Jump. It is worth every cent!
I honestly can't sing MARVEL's praises enough. Sure, I'm a Marvel fanboy (at what point can I be a fanman?), but they are really knocking things out of the park. That said, the creative team that has brought us MARVEL Universe on Disney XD is now bringing us a TRON: Legacy prequel in the form of an animated series. Get excited.
Through this whole "being sick" thing I've been complaining about, a couple of things have really helped keep my spirits up: 1- Amy Pond 2- the internets, and 3-Amy Pond. God, Bless, AMERICA!
