Superman must protect the sub-terrans from Ghost Soldier and the U.S. Armed Forces! Is he about to become Public Enemy #1?
This issues plays on the ole heart strings of this over-sized comic book fan, but Pak does a beautiful job of showing that Superman really does care that much, that he truly feel responsible for all living creatures' protection -- and when Supes is forced to deal with the fact that he can't protect everyone, everything, that is when we get our best Superman stories.
