Zeros N’ Heroes Trivia Calls it Quits After 40 Weeks of Pub Quizzery

Logan, Ut. – After 40 weeks of hosting a weekly pub quiz at the Beehive Grill in Logan, Ut., the hosts of the Zeros N’ Heroes Trivia Challenge are calling it quits to pursue comic book dreams.
A typical night of ZnH Trivia.
“We have had so much fun doing this with the great folks at the Beehive Grill,” said Trent Hunsaker, trivia host/master. “It really breaks my heart to quit something we’ve built from the ground up.”

Hunsaker first approached management at the restaurant in the hopes of hosting a pub quiz as a means of promoting one of his podcasts, The (NSFW) Zeros N’ Heroes Podcast.

“That was the original idea,” said Hunsaker, “but then it turned into so much more. There was finally something to do mid-week in Logan!”

The event brought in so many participants, that the Beehive Grill started using an adjacent, over-flow room to accommodate all of the many trivia challengers; a record night had 79 people ordering drinks, eating, and playing in the game.
The three-person podcast panel is now focusing collective efforts into their latest venture, Death Ray Comics and Logan Out Loud, located at 72 W. Center St. in Logan, Ut.

“The location is set into two sections: a comic book shop and a comedy theater,” said Hunsaker of the soon-to-open venue. “I’m running the comic book side of things, and Jonathan and Jordan are running the comedy side.”

Hunsaker wishes the best to all of the “ZnH Trivia Challenge” goers and encourages someone to pick up where he left off.

“I haven’t had a chance to talk with the folks at Beehive, but I really hope someone picks up the trivia call and continues running with it. Sadly, I just don’t have the time.”

Logan Out Loud Comedy hosts shows Fridays at 9:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Death Ray Comics will open on April 12, in conjunction with an art installment it is hosting in the Cache Valley Center for the Arts Gallery Walk.
